joeyt
Any South American football fans know if Aranguiz to Leicester for £10.5mil is a good deal?
BeloEmre
Any South American football fans know if Aranguiz to Leicester for £10.5mil is a good deal? I've never seen him play, but £10.5m for a player who has never played in Europe sounds like a big gamble.
ponsaelius
i'm surprised you could have never seen him play, did you not watch the World Cup?
ponsaelius
And fwiw, I think he's good, but could easily be a player made to look better in the way Chile play as a collective. See Vargas, Eduardo - looks like a worldbeater at international level but a non entity at numerous clubs now.
BeloEmre
i'm surprised you could have never seen him play, did you not watch the World Cup? Ok, i've probably seen him play but never made any special notice of him
Mole_Toonfan
Any South American football fans know if Aranguiz to Leicester for £10.5mil is a good deal? Based on WC and Copa America it is, but who knows if that's a fair reflection of him as a player.
BeloEmre
Lost 4-2. BUY A NEW STRIKER! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-city-eye-saido-berahino-6178755

BeloEmre
They have sold two strikers tbf. I know that, but my point is that a striker wouldn't be the first position to strenghten after losing 4-2. They still have Aguero, Bony and Sterling to play up front.
Deuce
And fwiw, I think he's good, but could easily be a player made to look better in the way Chile play as a collective. See Vargas, Eduardo - looks like a worldbeater at international level but a non entity at numerous clubs now. I'm convinced Vargas will come good in Europe once his club teams stop playing him as a winger or AM. He's an unusual player, but most certainly a forward who needs the freedom to move around. Agreed about Aranguiz, think he's got the ability to do well but time will tell.
Figures 1-0 Football
Leicester may have agreed a club record fee for Charles Aranguiz but the player himself is far from convinced and would rather join Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen. "The president told me there's a bid from Leicester and it's good for the club," Aranguiz told Brazilian television network Globo. "But for me, Leverkusen is important. "I am not talking about money. Between Leverkusen and Leicester, the best is Leverkusen; they're a bigger team. I want to go." "I am 26 years old, and am at a stage where I need to go a step further." Must admit, I really dislike Leicester - so I found this hilarious

BeloEmre
Looks like Dwight Gayle leaving Palace to sign on loan somewhere. Norwich and Fulham mentioned No suprise that after CP signed Bamford and Wickham. Still think Gayle could do well in PL, so Norwich would probably be a good move for him. LFEE
Gayle > Bamford You have an unhealthy obsession with Gayle mate. Not at all. Just think he's very underrated and very surprised he's lost his place at Palace. Maybe I shouldn't be due to who their manager now is. He'd walk into our team for sure. AyeDubbleYoo
Not sure he'd walk into a team ahead of Cisse and Mitrovic, but I do like him a lot. Stupid to sign Wickham and dispose of Gayle.
Figures 1-0 Football
Following reports that Charles Aranguiz ruled out a move to Leicester City, the Foxes have received a second blow as another of their transfer targets distances himself from the club. Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler has reportedly turned down a transfer to the King Power Stadium in favour of joining Fiorentina. Leicester looked to have further strengthened their midfield by agreeing a fee of £3million for the experienced midfielder on Saturday. But, according to tuttomercatoweb.com, the Swiss international has no desire to play in England and has turned down an offer from the Foxes. The 31-year-old, whose current contract in Naples is set to expire in June 2016, is now waiting for Fiorentina to table an offer ;D ;D ;D
