Mole_Toonfan
Nice to see Milan are making apparently smart signings, if only Inter would follow suit. CL feels strange with just Juventus from Italy really being relevant.

LFEE
It's just a glorified loan where the receiving club has skin in the game. If you believe that loans are abused, that's a perfectly fine position to have, but buyback clauses aren't a different kind of evil than those. Loans shouldn't be allowed IMO. There should be a maximum playing staff figure for each club that encompasses all age levels.

Odear
Well that makes sense, it would even things out even more so. The Sky money now is giving small clubs the opportunity to really compete with the established top 6. It's really not about how much is being spent now but more so how wisely it's being spent. A limited number of players a club could have registered would be ideal. Say 22 players over the age of 23, then a limited youth set up, say 22 players between the ages of 18-23 No restriction on under 18's
joeyt
Thought Lacazette would aim higher than Arsenal, like. Out of curiosity where did you think he would go? Well it looked like At. Madrid were going to sign him before their transfer ban. Thought he'd go to a team in the Champions League
Mole_Toonfan
There's a lot of CL teams which are still less attractive than Arsenal though tbh. I'm critical of Wenger as a coach in 2017 but he's still attractive to new players, Ozil and Sanchez both said they signed because of him and I wouldn't be surprised if Lacazette did too. Ketsbaia
Maybe wait for Atletico, or replace Aubameyang at Dortmund. Perhaps a Man Utd.

How are young players supposed to improve without playing competitive games? you'd have to build it into squad restrictions and that, guarantee 'x' u21 players get in the matchday squad or whatever tbh it wouldn't be an entirely bad thing to force clubs to balance things a bit as they're never going to do it themselves, it's beyond a joke now pie in the sky mind
Mole_Toonfan
Maybe wait for Atletico, or replace Aubameyang at Dortmund. Perhaps a Man Utd. Waiting for Atletico is fair enough, Dortmund are not better than Arsenal though and Man Utd while awash with endless cash haven't proven they are either. I think your options given are exactly why he's chosen to join Arsenal.
