Unfortunately we have very few (if any) players with both passion and genuine ability. When the chips are down this becomes a problem, not to mention the awful lack of leadership on and off the field.

 It's a massive, massive problem.

I do agree, but what passion/commitment that is there in the players has been eroded and nullified. The lack of ambition from the top down has washed away a culture which can sustain professional pride, I can't see how it couldn't tbh.

I agree but even then the lack of professional pride on the pitch is alarmingly evident again from our so called better players.

This is what happens when you buy players of dubious characters and ask he chaff to make up the rest, it's never going to work. They have an easy out, just as they did last season.

As average as he is, Tiote would have improved things tonight. I love all the fancy dan shit but getting beat 0-4 and dominated 90 mins without conceding a booking is a fucking joke, absolutely shocking.

Report the cunts RT - there is an anon number to shop people IIRC.

Had our chances and should have scored, but outclassed none the less. Their passing around the midfield was at a level that we're completely incapable of. Cabaye or no Cabaye.

Annoying that we've had to face three tough games - the local derby and two CL standard sides - without our main goal threat.

Give our team a decent manager and you'll see a far better set of players.

Load of bollocks, how was the mackem game a difficult game other than us making it so.

Look on the bright side.

Who have you got next?

An eminently winnable game for both teams, even more given you're less shit away than you are at home.

Less shit, yes, but we are currently 10th in the "away matches only" league, so we're not exactly Bayern Munich on our travels, despite the media banging on about it all the time.

What was Williamson doing for the first? goal, committed himself to a tackle he was nowhere near on the half way line, left loads of space behind him and the Spurs player turned him with ease, was like man against boy.

Mate don't slag Williamson, he's had about 3 decent months in his horrible NUFC career but that has suddenly put him up there with Albert, Woodgate and Coloccini for most here.

The world's most boring parody has spoken.

Have a look at the Williamson thread since November.

I've seen it. Quit trying so hard man.

Everyone knows Williamson is shite and wants him upgraded but lo and behold a bit of decent form is allowed to be accepted.

Williamson incredibly slow to react on the 3rd goal as well.

He's been back to his usual awful self for 5-6+ games now.

He's been below par since that cunt Taylor has been partnering him.

And they're poorness has been exacerbated by having a non-existent midfield infront of them now Cabaye has fucked off. Won't even bother with the FBs.

Who could have guessed that Taylor/Williamson wouldn't be a good combination at the back?

Honestly it's at the point where it has to be some sort of massive trolling session. Just senseless stuff all the time.

I'm not as convinced our first XI is as poor, ability wise, as they've been showing lately. Cabaye is a fucking huge loss though, and our balance has been thrown the fuck off without him. Still, our first XI is only a few players short of being a pretty decent outfit that can compete well with most teams. Well, in theory anyway if not with Pardew. Beneath that, we're a long, long way off a top four squad.

I'm beginning to think Cabaye was the only one knitting the side together, he was our outstanding player by a country mile and our form and results has basically been linked to if he was playing and how well he was playing. Without him the entire team is lost and we've lost any and all creativity in the centre of midfield, Tiote's good at what he does but it ain't anything that will be in anyway positive in the final third (we've also missed him badly in the last 2 games) Anita-what the hell does he actually do? He doesn't win the ball he has fuck all ability to create something what is the point of him? Sissoko is what he is, a player with tremendous physical attributes not so many technical attributes. Throw in a lack of natural width full backs who can't defend to save their lives and the strikers the club actually owns being worth the square root of fuck all its not in anyway surprising when you take out the outstanding player in the side and refuse to even bother to replace him that our form nosedives.
