toontownman
Good stuff this. Would be tempted to keep him on low next year too. We will need him though if we do go down.
Geordie Ahmed
I would loan him to a Championship team next season (ideally Coventry can get promoted) unless we are one
U2
I would loan him to a Championship team next season (ideally Coventry can get promoted) unless we are one I'd want him playing for a top half championship team.

samag
Still think we should recall him, we need goals why not give him a go in the last ten games ,

Keep him then Huge assumption we'll be good enough for top half of the championship tbf.
sempuki
They'll be the usual firesale and he'd have to come back if we get relegated. We'll be playing Coventry next season at this rate.

Coventry City @CovInsider 20m20 minutes ago BREAKING: Newcastle United have exercised their recall option on Adam Armstrong. The sticker will return to the Magpies. More to follow.. thenige
Hasn't scored in five or so games, quick get him back, he's showing Newcastle form.

Guest DonaldGrump
If he can be recalled he needs to be and quick...the lad knows how to score goals. I am afraid as good a manager as Rafa is he wont get enough goals out of our current clueless strikers to stay in this division. Give the lad a go nothing to lose imho. Mike
I actually believe this kid will grow now. Amazing. Gonna be so pissed when we go down and hire Pearson.

BONTEMPI
You know I totally forgot about this lad. Get him back.
themanupstairs
If he can get his head right and provide the pace that Mitrovic/Wijnaldum/Shelvey desperately need around them, he could be vital. That was the hope I had for Townsend but he still seems a long way from being match-fit and back to his usual self.
Figures 1-0 Football
There's a big difference between League One and the Premier League like Nicky Ajose (Swindon) is the leading scorer in that league, if we bought him in today and whacked him straight in the team there would be uproar. Armstrong is having a good season but I'm not convinced he is or ever will be a Premier League striker and I think that he has found his level (although I would love to be proven wrong).
