Contract until: 30.06.2019

So he's gone there on a 12 month loan with an option to buy at the end.. when he's a free agent. Who they buying him from then?

Maybe pay a fee after so many games?  But good question

True, could be one of those "play 20 games and you have to buy for x pounds" deals

All the best to him I say, he got the chance to play for his home town club which he did and it didn't quite work out for him for various reasons, one of them was that he wasn't very good, but live and let live all the best Jack..................................but don't fucking come back.

Thinking about this more, they could just play him 19 (or whatever 1 less than the number is) games.. wait for the end of the season and get him on a free anyway.  the fuck are we doing

Might be something similar to the Krul deal.

More likely there's an option somewhere for Forest to confirm the signing if they can agree terms with the player, before any clubs can come in. Can't see them playing much of a loan fee (if any), and wages are likely to be subsidised.

Forest fan I know reckon we’re still forking out for some of his weekly wedge.

Glad he won’t be back the useless cunt.

This will be the reason. Nobody is going to pay him the same as he is on. He is not willing to take a reduction, in order to play. Loan with wages supplemented = win-win-win.

of the criticisms of colback this is the weakest to me, no one would nor should be expected to walk away from what probably amounts to millions of pounds

Observation rather than criticism. Short career and all that, plus his earning potential is about to half. Unless he has a storming season.

aye that's it like, he'll know he's done now and will be on lower league contracts for the rest of his days (which will no doubt still be pretty good)

some people do seem to expect him to just write off millions of pounds to go and play in the champo mind, same for rodwell at the mackems, just doesn't happen nor should it
