Hatem Ben Arfa (still a free agent)

Recommended Posts

This irrational love for him, and the way his fate intertwined with ours in what has to be one of the worst portions of our history, is what has made this period actually somewhat memorable for the right reasons. The joys of getting drunk and putting on his NUFC youtube compilations and arguing with other clubs' fans why he is better than Messi as they look at you like you're (rightfully) mental will come to define some of us for the rest of our lives.

Over the top, yes? But what about being a Newcastle fan isn't?

Hatem Ben Arfa, look away now. Micah Richards appeared for Manchester City in the Community Shield in August and has played for Fiorentina in Serie A this campaign too. But he would be allowed to play for Inter as well because Uefa count the Wembley fixture as having happened last season.

Absolutely mental double standard

Going to get flack for this comment but:

Grow up Hatem man, enjoy your 6 month holiday and prove all those doubters wrong, don't just flounce off like a cry baby.

Yeah it's that simple for sure

You are one of my favourite posters on here you know that but it really is that simple.

He has a choice, grow the fuck up get on with it or flounce off like a cry baby and just give up.

If he just quits all he succeeds in doing is proving his army of doubters right.

Why does he even have to quit Nice? He signed an 18-month contract. If it's about the fact he can't play for 6 months, give him his wages for that, graft in training for them and get ready for next season. He's at the age where he's still got one big move in him if he does. Have a good season next year, try and play his way into the 2016 Euros in his home country and he would have a decent pick of clubs when his contract is up.

Instead he's talking of quitting?

Piss off man.
