Pata
http://inbedwithmaradona.com/journal/2014/4/15/ayoze-rise-of-the-boy-from-mara-jimnez?rq=ayoze Nice piece from before we got him Great read. Felt a bit bad reading that knowing that we got him for basically free until I saw that he was earning 600€ a month.
Ste
The cross comes in and you think to either hit it first time and likely hit the side netting, or take a touch and go round the defender on the outside before working another cross or shot. The fucking balls of this kid to do what he did, class.
ponsaelius
I'm happy him, Aarons, Abeid etc have all came through good these recent weeks. Pardew issue aside, I was beginning to go a bit loopy hating my own team tbh. This bunch have given a reason to be interested in the club again, however small. Wanting your own team to lose is a fucking horrible experience, and one you can only deal with for so long. Now there are at least a few players in that side I feel that I can support. AyeDubbleYoo
I always loved the players tbh, I really like this squad. It's pardew that I hate, that never bled over for me Same, we've had a likeable bunch of players for absolutely ages.
James
I know I said it in the heat of the moment, but I really do feel he could become one of the worlds great players. Not Messi or Ronaldo level, and probably not the next tier (Suarez, Rodriguez, Bale), but definitely in the next tier of say Totti, Del Piero. James
Let's revisit in 2024. We will know for sure then.
Ryan_Taylor
All that happened there is I'm imagining Pardew discovering the new Messi
Skeletor
'He's doing a great job. I mean he had Perez sold two years ago. Any team would struggle without a player of his quality' - Some generic cockney journalist circa 2017.
Decky
Hopefully we don't get Kinnear back or we'll sell him to Madrid for £5 million.

With this and the talk of Madrid, we need to say let's just calm down, he's only scored a few goals at the top level.
AyeDubbleYoo
He's looked promising and surprisingly good for me, that's as far as I would go. Any talk about him being one of the best players in the league is ridiculous at this point, and I really rate him.
Guest firetotheworks
I always loved the players tbh, I really like this squad. It's pardew that I hate, that never bled over for me Same, we've had a likeable bunch of players for absolutely ages. Totally, my favourite squad since SBR era. I don't dislike any of them tbh, maybe Colback. Steven Taylor is the absolute worst like.
AlanSkÃrare
Strongly dislike Rob Elliot and have a problem with Steven Taylor and Mike Williamson for their arselicking of Pardew. The rest are fine. Starting to really like Ayoze and Abeid. Krul is the fucking balls for sticking with us for so long despite the shit.
Kanj
Elliott, Bantz, Obertan and Willo can get lost. The rest I've no problem with.
Hanshithispantz
It's a love hate relationship with Steven Taylor for me. I find him inexcusably hilarious and cringe worthy in equal measures. He's certainly not boring, despite the fact I imagine a conversation with him is one of the most painfully boring things you could sit through. He's a bit of an enigma. aussiemag
My favourite players in the squad at the moment are easily Krul, Janmaat, Abeid, Perez, Aarons and Sissoko. Most disliked players are: Gouffran, Williamson, Elliot, Colback, Obertan
Hanshithispantz
I think Elliott and Willo are the only ones I actually hate tbh due to the bollocks they've been known to spout.
