Village Idiot
He's never been an out and out striker, even when he was banging them for fun at Tenerife he played behind Aridane, a big target man.
The College Dropout
He's never been an out and out striker, even when he was banging them for fun at Tenerife he played behind Aridane, a big target man. Seems to only get a role in the middle up top by himself. Rarely at AM.
Kanj
His style of play and way he moves about the pitch is excellent. Want him to make the wide left forward role or #10 as his own and hold it.
Chicken
Ayoze once again on the bench.
triggs
Ayoze once again on the bench. Don't really mind him being on the bench in games like this. He's probably not as threatening as Sissoko or Thauvin on the wing and we probably need 3 in the middle in a game like this as well so we don't get overran
dinotheprehistoricgeordie
He'll get his chance as the season continues. Have no doubt he will shine when he gets a run of games together.
Kanj
He'll work himself into the 11 IMO. It's between him and De Jong to eventually force their way in and force McClaren to stick Sissoko or Wijnaldum further back. Ayoze attitude is spot-on, not even worried in the slightest. Newcastle Fan
He will get more games, love this lad.
taxfree
I don't mind Ayoze being benched for Sissoko here. It's when Obertan comes in before him I'll be miffed.
Alberto2005
I'd take off Anita/Colback and drop Thauvin back.
r0cafella
I'd take off Anita/Colback and drop Thauvin back. You want us to lose?

mrmojorisin75
would break me if they sold him tbh, he should literally be one of the first names on our teamsheet each week reckon i'd get the sniper rifle out
Sima
I'd full on whitey if this happened and it, again, would just show that there is no intention of building a competitive squad.
M4
In a strange twisted instinct this news makes glad that he is being valued. Because I certainly wish this club would value him a little more.
ExiledGeordie
would break me if they sold him tbh, he should literally be one of the first names on our teamsheet each week reckon i'd get the sniper rifle out Full on Michael Douglas meltdown like in Falling Down

TRon
I hope this is just speculative bollocks, Perez is one of my favourite players and is going to be a star in the future once he gets a settled role in the side.
Village Idiot
He'd get lost in the shuffle at Spurs, they seem to sign a dozen players for that position every season. I want him to be great.
themanupstairs
He'd get lost in the shuffle at Spurs, they seem to sign a dozen players for that position every season. I want him to be great. Fuck Spurs. Would have been as bad a move for him to go there as it would have been to move to Chelsea or Man City at this point. Footballing graveyards for players like him. So happy he's still here and I hope we get to see much more of him this season
buzza
Just let him back into the No10 spot, he works his arse off, is very technical, can hold the ball up and bring others into play as well as scoring a few!!! Drop Wiji back a slot replacing Jack or Anita and hey presto... top team when defense is on form!
Paully
He simply HAS to start! He'd be one of the first names on my team sheet! The kid is a massive talent with a great attitude!
M4
Would love him in a number ten spot. He'd probably get booed by the crowd after losing the ball though.
TRon
It's a shame Mitrovic is out for 3 games, I was really looking forward to see what Perez could do playing off a proper target man.
xLiaaamx
Surely with Mitro out he has to get these 3 games up top?
