The next Dyer.

If only he was a fraction as good

Exactly. He has shown the odd glimpse of being decent but nothing to suggest he will go on to do anything for us

Well clearly Rafa has, as he wouldn't have given him a 5 year deal.

There's a difference between him breaking down with a hamstring an issue and an unfortunate ankle injury. An ankle injury can happen to anyone in a tackle.

He does seem to have real trouble just staying fit though which is a shame

All hail the King (and amateur doctor)

Fucks sake man. As if we didn't desperately need a wide player before this.

Perez is out left tonight and scored two, funnily enough playing out left is probably his best position. He's a good option left if we don't get another winger.

Injury sounded bad but that aside and considering his other injuries over the years could he have the Sturridge complex? One of my biggest memories of this kid  was under Pards was he asked to be subbed at half time at a cup match coz he was knackered

Hope he doesn't live to regret that. The kid's definitely got something but he's looking more and more like a perma-crock. This was a big game for him to stake a claim to the much needed left wing spot as well.

Tbh, it's a good thing he's injured now so atleast there's a small chance to get another winger in. Not impressed with his start to the season. You would have thought, judging how he is sometimes rated on here, he'll be taking the league by storm. Hasn't happened and far too incosistent. You'd want a proper winger who does the job of taking on fullback, cuts in, creates chances, get the crosses in and gets his fair share of goals and Aarons simply doesn't do that due to injuries and inconsistency.

Ritchie whould be a good example of how Aarons should be performing each game.
