loki679
Adrian Durham and Talksport seem to be the only ones talking any sense on this. That's how fucked up this has become. Talksport are the voice of reason.

ExiledGeordie
It could get really interesting if he loses against Leicester To be honest I've stopped reading a lot of the stuff at the moment. Partly because I'm bored if it all but secondly dislocated my shoulder on sat so have other painful concerns currently :-/ Apathy, grim
EthiGeordie
They've now recruited Sir John Hall for their campaign. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/405043/EXCLUSIVE-Sir-John-Hall-tells-Newcastle-fans-to-back-the-team-Alan-Pardew-anger I cant wait til this piece of garbage die or something he is the one who gave us Ashley in the first place what is relegation do to us compare to Ashley. NG32
“Let’s face it, Newcastle are a million miles away from challenging for titles today,” he said. “This season is all about pulling away from the relegation zone and climbing up the table. Pathetic
NG32
Staying in the Premier League is the overriding priority because for a club like Newcastle United, there’s a nothingness below it. Its not NUFC anymore. I dont think I care enough.
Unbelievable
Adrian Durham and Talksport seem to be the only ones talking any sense on this. That's how f***ed up this has become. Talksport are the voice of reason. I'm starting to fear for our and my own mental health now. The sad thing is that the masses will lap up all this PR bullshit. We are fucking doomed as a football club.
arnonel
But but... Why didnt we build on the success of 5th and start challenging for titles? Or is everyone now agreed that was a total fluke and under Pardew the best we can hope for is a relegation battle....

And not forgetting Pardew bleating on about his new crop of players and having a cheeky push for 5 or champions league. Weve gone from challenging the top teams to surviving relegation in 6 games.
Guest Roger Kint
Get behind the team? Well thats clearly worked for most of the near 30 game disaster this excuse mongering wanker has led us through. Hell look at the good work it did at home to Palace.......its not like we have picked up 4 points in the only two games any fan unrest occurred Fucking pricks coming out from everywhere to spout this garbage and sadly too amny of our soopa fans will lap it up. So glad i wont see this weeks game at all
Dave
Beat Leicester and we’ll rise a few places and suddenly things will look a whole lot better. Hasn't looked at the table then.
NG32
Beat Leicester and we’ll rise a few places and suddenly things will look a whole lot better. Hasn't looked at the table then. Eveyone seems to be pinning their hopes that nufc will beat Leicester and its 3 pts in the bag. I'm not so sure it will work out like that, at best we may sneak a win but it wont be a good game of football to fill people with confidence.
arnonel
We dont need to beat Leicester, we just need to put in a shift. Show some fight. Thats way more important that actual points.

I dont think you'll get that. Pardew's mind set is to not lose first , then he tries to win a game. The football on show will be cautious and simple. Adn then usually loses anyway. At least while Pulis and hippo heads teams played, boring, functional, dour football they ground out results with it. We play shit, defensive, turgid football with 9 men behind the ball and still get humped 4-0.

Wallace
It's not just about us getting the 3 points now, we are getting to the stage where we are starting to rely on other teams not picking up points as well. I expect Burnley and QPR will continue to struggle but we need other teams to struggle as well so we can still be in touch with them come January. AyeDubbleYoo
It might academic because we're likely to receive multiple hammerings as soon as we face some decent teams.
