These new stadiums are spectacular, but for me you can't beat the old school stadiums. Like the old San Memes- the new one is nice looking, but games imo Bilbao home matches are almost boring to watch now when they're at home- there's no real character about the place.

 

Just like places like Leicester City's old Filbert Street compared to their new bowl, or what will be West Ham's new home in the Olympic Stadium compared to Upton Park of now. I just don't like it when clubs move stadiums without there being a legitimate reason. 'Financial decisions' don't wash with me.

Tottenham and man city, soon after too

 

The Etihad will be bigger than St James' after the coming summer. Seats are going in already

Man City can't even sell out now. They'll be hoping to steal a few tourists from Man United to come close to a full house!

 

That's what I thought (and see whenever you see their games on TV) - yet the new stand is sold out from season tickets for next season, and there's a waiting list of around 5000 for the opposite end when that's expanded too

Same happens with us; we rarely fill the whole Camp Nou (100k seats...) yet we sell out all the STs with ease, so it's a cash cow.
