morla84
Not convinced by Anfield, just looks like a climbing frame stuck on the stand
Mistle17
These new stadiums are spectacular, but for me you can't beat the old school stadiums. Like the old San Memes- the new one is nice looking, but games imo Bilbao home matches are almost boring to watch now when they're at home- there's no real character about the place. Just like places like Leicester City's old Filbert Street compared to their new bowl, or what will be West Ham's new home in the Olympic Stadium compared to Upton Park of now. I just don't like it when clubs move stadiums without there being a legitimate reason. 'Financial decisions' don't wash with me.
henke
I'm with you in that. I probably mentioned it earlier but the Maracana is a brilliant example, the new version is gash compared to the original.

henke
So who's paying for all this work at the Olympic stadium?
summerof69
I maybe wrong, but I'm sure I read somewhere that the amount West Ham are paying is less than the amount they are actually selling upton Park ? Can anyone clarify ?
Decky
Liverpool and West Ham will have a bigger stadiums than us in just over a year. Because of Ashley we'll never increase as well.

Kevo
Man City can't even sell out now. They'll be hoping to steal a few tourists from Man United to come close to a full house!
sbnufc
Man City can't even sell out now. They'll be hoping to steal a few tourists from Man United to come close to a full house! That's what I thought (and see whenever you see their games on TV) - yet the new stand is sold out from season tickets for next season, and there's a waiting list of around 5000 for the opposite end when that's expanded too
