Newcastle United 0 - 1 Man United - post-match reaction from page 24

Abeid has looked pretty suspect again.

Looks proper nervy.

Yeah big time. Carvers inspirational words got him in the right frame of mind

he's had a mixed bag, some decent some not so good. needs to get his head straight and just relax a bit.

Aye. His positioning has been so much betters than any of other DMs, he's constantly in the right place. Doesn't run around like a headless chicken or jumps clumsily into challenges, which is a big plus. He's been poor on the ball though, but so has literally everyone else been too.

If someone's just kicked you and (as a reasonable person would perceive it) spat right at you you're probably going to react like an idiot, by the way. Not saying what Cisse's done isn't wrong but he's got significant mitigating circumstances.

Whatever I'm watching this just showed highlights of when we beat them 4-3. Robert free kick, Shearer winner, Robson (and Ferguson) praising the fact that the game was entertaining and both teams had chances... What a contrast to now :(

Simple action-reaction situation, really.

Couldn't agree more; shame the FA won't see it that way though, especially if BT Sport can help it.
