On a serious note, imagine missing out on the pink shirt and then seeing that kit gets released instead.

I mean I don't as I have the pink shirt, but just imagine

Pink kit is apparently getting released mid August

inspired ffs  Best I can say is that they might have used the colour dropper tool, the rest looks more like it was inspired by a garden.

These things get more effort put into the blurb's lies than the kits themselves. Incredibly low effort.

Now we’ve got the shit kit out of the way, can we get a release date for the Terrace Icons range please. Other than Elanga, it’s the only positive thing to come out of the club so far this summer.

I haven't minded it since the first leaks tbh cos I do like a green kit. They should've just binned any association with the Tyne Bridge though, just let the design speak for itself. I quite like it but it doesn't look anything like the Tyne Bridge, so they might as well have not bothered saying anything.

The launch video suits the kit well..minimal effort..

Spot on from the lads at NUFC.com too:

The accompanying press release from adidas neglects to mention the similarity to the green in the Saudi Arabian flag, but does confirm the source of the shirt design:

"We took the famous Tyne Bridge arch as inspiration and created the bold pattern to represent the iconic structure across the new shirt.”

The Tyne Bridge of course is currently working at reduced capacity due to prolonged lack of investment and issues in retaining suitably qualified personnel. Very fitting then.
