Even so, let the kid enjoy his football and develop for christ sake. It really just shows how starved for options we are when some kid with 10 professional appearances to his name is in the provisional squad. It's laughable. If Hodgson's done it purely for the kid to experience that kind of set up then what message does that send to loads of other English strikers who have had their breakthrough this season?
