Wild take, but I like it 😂 Can image his beam 😂😂😂

It is a wild take, but Tuchel will only be thinking about World Cup. And if Saka is the main guy on RW, he’ll probably be looking at someone who can just be a direct workhorse for the last 10 minute of games.

His squads I can see being quite a bit different to what Carsley was picking.

Saw Harry Kane had 103 apps for England. How likely do people feel it is that he'll have taken the record as most capped England player by the time he retires? Will turn 32 this July, 8 matches in the WC qualifiers this year would bring him to 111 apps. If we guess there'll be three pre-WC friendlies, he'll be at 114 before the WC proper. If we give England the benefit of any and all doubt and say you get to the Final, he'd be on 122 apps when the WC is done. 3 apps away from equalling Shilton's record and 4 away from taking it for himself, but aged 33 and just having had the perfect time to announce his retirement from International football (after a theoretical WC 2026 Final).

Do people think he'll stick around after the WC to try to get himself the record, even if only becoming a bit-part player in the national team set-up as, undoubtedly, whoever manages England at the time will want to bring in younger players for the upcoming EC 2028 and WC 2030 rather than gamble on an aging Kane?

Weird thing to be thinking about out of nowhere, especially as a non-English person, I know  But still, I wonder... 🤔
