mrmojorisin75
Wasn't much in that tackle at all tbh. Regulation, throw a leg at it and try and block it, can't see any malice there, bit rash perhaps but that's about it. Was expecting to see an absolute shocker given some of the comments at the time. same, he actually stopped extending his leading leg during the slide as he knew he wasn't getting there first, might even have pulled back a little but there was no way he was going in to hurt the lad like
Superior Acuña
His tackle was the highlight of my weekend man, proper cracked me up. Can't be arsed slagging him.
U2
Definitely an effort in the media to paint this lad as a bad boy.
Wild Geese
Touch of the Duncan Ferguson about him. Think we've got a good un here

Sho Time
Think his initial challenge was definitely a case of adrenalin/generally being a mental cunt. He was left far too isolated once we conceded which stopped him from being able to attack Southampton. I'd definitely start him next week.
AyeDubbleYoo
He won't start IMO, Cisse did alright and scored, and Mitrovic didn't show much at all. Not his fault, because we were out of the game when he came on, but I don't see how you could argue he did enough to suddenly become first choice. Sho Time
Obviously not basing it on that initial performance, but Cisse wasn't anything special and the circumstances Mitro came into weren't ideal in the slightest - Cisse wouldn't have performed better. He needs to adapt to the league and get as many minutes as possible. Use Cisse as the impact sub (where he excelled last season) and let Mitro rough the defenders up from the off I say. I do agree it won't happen, but I'd like to see it.
Flip
All I can say he's built like a tank, and if he plays against our defenders in training he's going to be scoring for fun.
Big Geordie
I'd consider starting him at Swansea. He should be able to hold the ball up, which we know Cisse can't.

His presence in training should be a huge help to our defenders tbh. He'll be a huge asset eventually, at both ends of the pitch.

Might toughen up Lascelles though.
Kanji
No way can you judge any of his attacking performance yesterday bc any of our pace and invention was gone at 68 minutes when Tiote came in and we stopped attacking.
The College Dropout
Seems a silly lad. Looking forward to seeing him in action properly.

James
It's going to be a good contest because I thought there were a number of improvements to cisse's game, notably he was knicking the ball from people's feet and feeding it out to Wijnaldum and Sissoko, allowing us to attack quite high up the pitch. Dr.Spaceman
It's almost like he was never told to do that previously.
xLiaaamx
Thought Cisse was pretty dreadful myself like. Broke a lot of our attacks down and looked well off the pace like he always does. Useful off the bench maybe. But should never be starting
Cronky
We can do better than Cisse. He has a dodgy first touch and that leads to him missing good scoring opportunities, which for a specialist finisher is a bit of a problem. I also suspect he's not the most popular figure in the dressing room.
