After a couple of seasons here he will still only be 22/23 and experience in one of the best leagues in the world, perfect age for him to step up to a top European club. We would be a good club for him to move to imo.

Remember that photo that someone posted with a pipe looking as if it was about to fall down? He emailed the club at least twice about it and that they should have a look at it.

I don't remember if it was fixed or not, but watch it now, falling down on Mrs Mitrovic with a deadly outcome

Think the one thing that could make him choose Porto is Champions League football.

Howay man, they're a massive club in their own right. How many players have excelled there and got big transfers? Not like they are some Euopean football's backwater.

They are bigger than us tbh, delusional to pretend otherwise.

Porto or NUFC? Only thing in our favour is PL footy, but I'm sure sun, CL and a potential big money move away a year or two down the line would figure higher like. He'd be daft for coming here.

Fuck that rational shite. If he signs for us it's because we blew poxy little Porto out of the water.

I'm just saying we should be able to compete with Porto. They're a big club yes, but they're not Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. He's 20, he'll be looking for a stepping stone and the PL is a much better shop window than the Portuguese league. He'll probably play more here too.

Would he be first choice at Porto? No idea who they've got to play up front now they've sold/selling Martinez

95% likely, should score a boat load too.

It's a weird one, if he moves to Porto he's almost guaranteed to score & maintain or improve his standing whereas at us if he succeeds its on a tougher stage but he might flop massively given that we're fairly toss and if he does he'll be damaged goods for a long while.

Due to foreigners seemingly not knowing how utterly pathetic we are as a football club we will be able to like. It shouldn't be the case though, it's actually repulsive that any player with dignity would choose us over them.

But on the other hand you just have to play semi-decent in the prem to be guaranteed an income equal to all but the very best in Spain or Italy...

On the flip side, if a player succeeds in the premier, it's usually regarded well abroad because of the physical nature of the game here. Mitrovic doesn't strike me as the sort of character who would be scared of failing either. This is where chasing players with big heads might prove beneficial.
