Foluwashola
His foot is about 30 miles away from where you would naturally put it to shield the ball. It was a disgusting, coward's challenge.
Dave
His eyes being on the ball is the very opposite of a defence in this situation.

afar
It was definately a from the sublime to the ridiculous kind of performance from himtoday, superb in that first half, but the sending off is what the scouting reports all warned about this guy. Under a manager like Rafa though, I think he could me immense for us next season, under someone the likes of McClaren, Carver, Pardew et al, he's just a a liability. Crumpy Gunt
Blokes a fucking arsehole. Needs shifting on.
Stottie
He beat Kyle Walker very easily for his goal, but still kicked out at him with us still winning the game. If that's what he does to someone in his pocket, it doesn't bode well for games where a mouthy defender has the upper hand over him.
SEMTEX
Blokes a fucking arsehole. Needs shifting on. We've been saying that about you for more than a decade now. He's going nowhere.

Stifler
Needs to calm down, a problem with quite a few players his age. I don't think his his challenge was actually deliberate and not as bad as people are making out, but it was still bad. Let's put it this way, plenty more experienced Spurs players did just as bad or worse challenges last week.
Crumpy Gunt
He's clearly got talent, that goal was very accomplished. But he's a liability in his current state and efenders will soon learn how to rile him. And it seems very easily. He's just not very good. Far too thick and you're correct - he will be a liability. I kind of agree it wasn't deliberate but extremely clumsy and showed a lack of awareness of what could happen in that situation, he clearly doesn't realise that walker's leg is where it is. The talent is there fo sure, as I said under the right guidance could be a star, keep Rafa, keep him imo.
Kanj
Clumsy and reckless. Dangerous when you factor in the speed of which it all occurred.
mozy
As a pure target man he's about as good as it gets. When you factor in the goal shy and nutcase issues, he needs to develop. The Championship will suit him mind.
Incognito
I thought his first half was a model in target man strikership. Never gave the Spurs backline a moment of peace. Held the ball up ,sometimes difficult balls too, and scored a great header. Would probably have got another without some quality last gasp defending. However, the red card was a disgusting assault and subsequent play acting embarrassing. I think he's potentially a very good striker.
Guest awaymag
Goal Shy? I think he gets a raw deal personally. In 1st season in Premier he scored 9 goals. Same as Andy Carrol and Christian Benteke. These guys are lauded for being goal scorers and worth £30M+. Its only because there was no-one else like Perez or Cisse chipping in with goals that it has fallen to him and people are looking too harshly. Agree he seems to have a red card passion but for a 21 year old in a new league, I think he has done okay
ponsaelius
He's a shitty one paced lump but so was Carroll when we went down. A season in the Championship could see him become something. There's some raw attributes there.
ElDiablo
Just about shown enough to hang on to him I think. Jury very much still out though, ability and temperament wise.
ads
The greatest thing he lacks is temperament. He's still a kid and if we keep hold of him, a season in the Championship could be just what he needs.
mighty__mag
Mate of mine thinks he did it because he wants to stay. As bizarre as it sounds the lad is mental and doesn't want to be sold. So his poor discipline record will put off buyers?

Imagine this guy with a few years of Rafa under his belt - he will be a massive handful

Imagine this guy with a few years of Rafa under his belt - he will be a massive handful totally agree with this, 3rd worst (!) team in the division playing horrendously throughout and he nearly made double figures yes he missed a number of important ones but isn't the well-worn cliche about strikers that when they're missing the important thing is to be in positions in the first place? Lush Vlad
I'd go with this. Pretty fair assessment. It's like he's seen Costa being an irritating, horrible twat and he's decided he's going to model his game on him. Both strong, physical players. Who also love to play act and commit some dirty fouls. If Mitro concentrated on playing football and not trying to fight everyone. I think he could develop into a good player. As it stands, he is just an unhinged loon, that shows the odd flash of potential and moment of class. I'm not sure he'll ever be prolific, mind. I think you'd need to surround him with pace and goals. Something we haven't done this season. Back to goal and in the air, he looks a real handful. But he looks lost when he is facing goal with the ball at feet. He's not clinical at all.
Jayson
His headers are of high quality, thats his strength. Goal yesterday, one against Sunderland, the one against Norwich, these are all top class finishes. Shearer/Carrollesque headers. His finishing with his feet & general speed of foot very dodgy. He's not scored a single goal with his feet with a defender between him & the goalie. Two pens, two 1on1's and one tap in. As seen yesterday, he tries to get the ball out of his feet & its too slow and easily blocked. He airshot the one slid across, even though it was good defending also. Same reason for these "clumsy" red cards. He has the heading, the strength, movement. He has to be quicker with his feet, maybe championship will help him. Shays Given Tim Flowers
Watching the game yesterday it is clear he has plenty he can offer the team. He needs to work on things particularly his behaviour but he is 21 so that's about as obvious as it gets. Ameobi was reasonable in the championship for us.
