It was pretty bad, like.  High, late, reckless and he scissored is legs around him.  Could easily have been a red.  He needs to sort his head out, something seems a bit off with him at the moment, maybe he's not keen on having so much competition for his position.....

Could be competition, for me I think it’s the reaction he got from the fans after his Ashley comments. He probably felt attacked, then it later sunk in he’d let us down. Probably a mix of anger towards us and himself with a large dose of self pity.

Only thing he can do is to turn it around on the pitch and take his game up a notch, words are pretty meaningless from him right now.

Was expecting a horror tackle having seen some comments. Absolutely nowt in it, bog standard yellow card. Carry on.

Nowt in it apparently.....

It's bad like.  I'm still not sure how people are saying it's not a red

I suspect if he hadn't spoken out in support of Ashley there would be more saying it wasn't a red :)

Maybe, i think he was stupid for saying that, but not sure it's influencing my opinion that it's a clear red.

If that happened to one of ours I'd be absolutely raging if it didn't result in a sending off.  I'm sure some of those defending it would be as well.

It would be another incident where people start pulling the 'how long since someone's been sent off against us?' stats out.

Mike Williamson got sent off at Leicester for a much tamer challenge than that.

Lascelles was very lucky not to get a red.

Williamson was a second yellow I think?

Yeah it was certainly second yellow. That was the one Carver came out and said he did it on purpose wasn't it?

Was it? Was Janmaats a straight red then or was that a 2nd yellow as well?

Both were two yellows.
