Village Idiot
In other big La Liga player in jail trouble news, Mascherano has settled with the prosecutor for 800k and a 1 year of prison time for fiscal fraud. Since he has no priors he won't serve the time. Settlement has still to be approved by the judge.
Guest
I really don't get the law like. He gets 1 year of prison time but doesn't serve it because he's never done it before?

In Spain you don't go to jail if your sentence is below 2 years and you have no priors.
The College Dropout
So... if he's caught speeding or summat.. in the bing he goes?
Village Idiot
So... if he's caught speeding or summat.. in the bing he goes? Depends on how much he speeded (jail time triggers when you go 70+ km/h over the limit), but yeah.
Village Idiot
Some guys that I work for have run a simulation of the current La Liga TV deal, and Marca has published the results: http://www.marca.com/2015/12/03/multimedia/graficos/1449131702.html Left side is the old TV money, right side is the money given under the new collective contract. Note that Real Madrid and Barça lose €30m each. First column on the right: fixed TV money. Second column on the right: prize money. Third column on the right: awarded through TV audience and stadium attendance (this one is obviously rigged so Barça and Madrid keep some advantage) The season isn't finished, so they are using last season's results for the prize money calculation. Overall figures are set to increase next season, since the new contract is expected to boost TV revenues by around 50%.
Flip
Neymar got player of the month for november in La Liga. First time ever (please explain why VI) a Barcelona player has won it.
Village Idiot
Neymar got player of the month for november in La Liga. First time ever (please explain why VI) a Barcelona player has won it. The award is merely two years old. And yes quite funnily it has never gone to a Barça player, which has been cause of derision.
The College Dropout
Real 1 down at Villareal with 20 minutes to go. if they lose this, I really hope Raja is sacked.

Lush Vlad
I said he wouldn't last until Christmas (2015). Surprised he has lasted this long TBH.
Ronaldo
Fucking ludicrous appointment. Very good manager but horribly unsuited to that job.
Mole_Toonfan
Who can they get in between now and the end of the season though? Doesn't seem to much available until the summer to help them win things.
Ronaldo
Just some random who'll let them revert to autopilot will probably constitute an improvement.

Disco
The daft cunt thought he was cleverer than he is. Needed to softly softly it away from Ancelotti's style instead of going full rigidity straight away. Trying his best to get sacked in the Clasico was a low move too. Despite that...throw money to get him in here.
triggs
Odd sacking IMO. Not like they're doing that horrific, they'll get top four easily and Rafa has a good record in Europe, not like anyone they can find now will do any better. Bad appointment in the first place though but don't know why they wouldn't just leave it until the summer

So Top 4 would be considered a disaster probably.
