Love the way he comes out and wins the ball rather than letting the other team have it and then defending

Reminds me of Lucio except he's not as strong in the air. Everytime he wins the ball he looks to go forward, it's just pure class.

Hopefully he is Inter Lucio rather than Bayern Lucio  :p

Hope he is the Bayer Leverkusen one, the one that scored free-kicks

This lad has ability clear for all to see, think he will be class for us.

He really could do with a leader like organiser next to him though

Too early to say he won't be that player himself, no?

Yup but you can never have too many defensive leaders right? :D

Was the opinion I was gathering as the game went on. Someone like a Jose Fonte character alongside him would be ace.

I really like the little shoulder nudges he does, dunno if anyone noticed. Did one when Mane was pretty much through when they chipped one over the top & couldnt stand his ground to control it. Very subtly puts them off balance, but its too small a motion for it to look a foul.

There was one moment when he the midfield was caught out and he was essentially 1 v 1 against an attacker moving at pace and he just read the ball, stepped in front of the attacker and came away with it like there was no problem. Anyone else in our defence and that moment is either a card or the player has a 1 v 1 with Krul. I also like how he steps up with the ball at his feet and opens attacking angles from defence. It's wonderful to see someone play the game from that position rather than just drop their arse and hoof it.

I saw that moment too, was ace, reminded me of Colo when he was actually in his pomp and 1v1 with an attacker you weren't very worried
