TRon
Colback as the only holding mid is not smart Can't even hide today. He's going to get raped.

Hanshithispantz
Colback as the only holding mid is not smart It doesn't make any sense. We've made a point of playing Colback along with some other knacker all season for the sole purpose of protecting the defence as alone none of them were good enough (until Tiote last 2 games). Now we've signed a DM we decide not to play him

thenige
Worrying lack of movement in CM but we've had that all season. At least Jonjo might actually pass the ball forward occasionally.

High Five o
Haha, Colback starts, fucking coward of a manager. How hard can it fucking be to see that the ginger cunt offer next to nothing to the team. Ahhh, so frustrating man

geordiedean
I've said many times and been laughed at on here. Colback has it in his terms that when available he plays. There is no other explanation for him being one of the first names on the team sheet. Surely mclaren carver and Pardew can see what us fans can see and that is that he's an impostor of a footballer quite possibly the worst player in the league and an absolute coward. This ginger cunt is stealing a living
thomas
Saivet would have been in training a few days now. He knows what's starting ahead of him.

Now we've signed a DM we decide not to play him It's completely bizzare, by all accounts Shelvey doesn't get involved in the defensive side, so we've just abandoned the horrendous two DM strategy the minute we sign an actual DM. Maybe that contract thing is true, it's baffling how he can start every game The vast majority of professional coaches think very conservatively. McClaren may well be planning on playing Saivet long term but it's not a surprise that Colback starts today instead of the new guy. It's s shit, annoying decision, but it's not a long term one yet, imo.

Shelveys Hair
There was no way McClaren was going to start 2 new players in midfield.. Id rather Tiote was kept until after this game but oh well.

Hanshithispantz
The vast majority of professional coaches haven't been forced to play Jack Colback in the middle due to a lack of other options. McClaren should have woken up this morning covered head to toe in jizz.

It's s shit, annoying decision, but it's not a long term one yet, imo. Possibly but then again when he signed we kept hearing Colback isn't a replacement for Cabaye, he's a replacement for Gosling. He won't be a starter, he's good backup, gives us a bit of depth on the bench. And look, the little cockweasel has somehow managed to start virtually every game. Don't have a good feeling about it. henke
28 minutes in McClaren will have seen enough, Saivet on for Colback. This time next year we're pushing for Europe and Colback is working in a butchers.
Guest ElCid
Colback starting was obvious, needs to get an injury to stay out long term That decision alone fully demonstrates what a fucking useless cunt of a manage he is and why we will be going down at the end of the season unless he is sacked asap.
