SEMTEX
If we continue our form from our last 10 games, we will be fortunate to finish in the top 2, never mind top. Signing Townsend and a CM would be an important step in strengthening the squad for the second half of the season, allowing us to actually push on, but instead, meh we'll be fine. Ronaldo
Can't believe people are indifferent, like. We fucking start Gouffran. Sammy Ameobi actually came on for us the other day. Just don't like him much any more, and we will get promoted anyway. If we're getting promoted anyway surely it would make sense to buy a couple of players of Premier League quality now, then. Yet we don't wan to sign Townsend?

If we can get them of course, never said otherwise. I just said I wouldn't be too disappointed if we don't get Townsend.
Kanj
If Townsend didn't leave we prob wouldn't have had Ritchie and we'd prob still have Gouffran / Atsu as the other winger.

Shush
If he comes then the moment he hits a few good performances the people disliking him or even don't want him here will suddenly forget those feelings. He's a good player and Rafa can get good stuff from him. Townsend and Ritchie on the wings will be class.
Guest
The form he showed last 7-8 games though has to be the norm. If that's the Townsend we get, £12m is brilliant and a player we can take with us back to the top 8-10 down the line. He never did that consistently at Spurs or so far at Palace so there's no guarantee at all we'll see the Townsend of March onwards. I can forgive and forget him leaving us, but I'm not that arsed because I think we'll come up with or without him, and I think we can get someone potentially better once we're up. He's class compared to them and I couldn't care less how he left. I trust Rafa

Luckily only played for him for few months so can hopefully recover

Guest palnese
A straight swap would do if its permanent. Mbemba will probably leave in the summer anyway.
Guest
We'd need a back up CB then unless he's happy with Findlay as 4th choice.
bowlingcrofty
As long as we could recall Mbemba that wouldn't be the worst thing.

Guest reefatoon
Would probably take the swap if offered. Mbemba will only be even further down the pecking order if/when we go up.
Ronaldo
Mbemba will probably be gone by end of summer anyway, imo.

Ryan
If we can get Mbemba back in the summer I'd be quite happy with that. Lascelles, Clark, Hanley and Dummett as CB options should be enough (Lazaar, Haidara or Gamez to cover at LB)
Guest
Mbemba will probably be gone by end of summer anyway, imo. Does make it easier for us to go out and get a really good CB in the summer if he's gone.
xLiaaamx
Depends on the offer really. I like him, but then I've liked Hanley too when he's played.
Guest neesy111
Mbemba will probably be gone by end of summer anyway, imo. He's not good enough imo, I found he's prone to the howler and is too lightweight even in the championship.
