Dave
Need goals, sign a winger. Scores and makes a lot of goals though mate. 5 goals and 3 assists in the Premier League. In his career.
cp40
Striker and lb-defender a priority. Waste a week signing this chump. Pokey bots all round.
Collage
Comment from my Spurs mate: "He's quick, direct and got the football intelligence of a ten year old" Sounds like Obertan (I do think he's better than that waste of Oxygen though) Obertan is the least direct player in the world though. Guest ElCid
Does anyone really think that a fee has been agreed and that he is then turning out for their under 21s - give your heads a shake man
Mattoon
Mitrovic Perez Wijnaldum Townsend Sissoko Shelvey Could that work?

timeEd32
Mitrovic Perez Wijnaldum Townsend Sissoko Shelvey Could that work? If the goal is to concede 5+ goals a game, then absolutely.
Foluwashola
It's not a 'wasted signing' if he improves us and helps avoid relegation tbf.
Mick
Mitrovic Perez Wijnaldum Townsend Sissoko Shelvey Manager: Steve McClaren. Could that work? I see one small problem with that.
Collage
Mitrovic Perez Wijnaldum Townsend Sissoko Shelvey Could that work? Don't think Shelvey can do enough defensively. We'd get bossed in midfield. Yep.
Altamullan
Mitrovic Perez Wijnaldum Townsend Sissoko Shelvey Could that work? Can't see Steve "stick" McClaren playing without a ' Colback, Saivet, Anita' second central midfielder.
r0cafella
It's not a 'wasted signing' if he improves us and helps avoid relegation tbf. This is true, I just feel it's unlikely personally. Don't think he improves us and given the stats Dave posted there is nothing to suggest he can help keep us up. Money better spent elsewhere.

Mick
It's not a 'wasted signing' if he improves us and helps avoid relegation tbf. We're clinical in front of goal and just need to create a few more chances for the forwards, have I missed anything?
SUPERTOON
Imagine being in charge of running Newcastle and first thinking McClaren was the best choice, then second believing he was doing fine even though we have been bottom 3 all season, then allowing him to pick bang average players he wants to sign and then spending close to 25 million on them. It's baffling, we could have continued to shop abroad and strengthen the whole team if a good manager was hired.
St1pe
I'm going to stick my neck out and say this will be a good signing because I've seen him do that cut in side shot that nearly went in on MOTD a few times.
Dave
He hasn't played in a first team match since 22nd October, and that was in the Europa League. His last start before that was 23rd September in the League Cup. He hasn't started a Premier League match since last season; 11th April. Even ignoring his ropey stats, I think expecting him to come in and have an instant impact on our relegation battle is probably asking a bit much. Exactly, it's not as if we have easier games for him to come into, pretty much every game is must win.
Hanshithispantz
He's been playing in the U-21s, no reason he shouldn't be match fit and ready to go like.
Altamullan
Tbf to the lad, he could be a top player. He has all the attributes, and maybe just needs to be a guaranteed starter in a team which relies on him... Oh fuck, we're just signing another expensive cast-off might-be. Still, he has got to be better than Billy Askew (no offence, twinkle toes).
