Getting more and more convinced as each day passes that he's going to relegate them.

I wish I could agree but the way they play they'll scrape a 1-0 win or two from somewhere. While that horrendous style of football doesn't win many games, it can get you the odd win and a few draws.

He looked broken in his post match interviews, you could see the beads of sweat.  His ego can't take the pressure, I remember him saying earlier on in the season "well there's a reason we are 5th in the division" what's the reason your team are now 16th and without a win in 2016 Al??

He knows his utterly s*** patter and excuses are starting to wear very thin.  They've got tough games as well coming up but it doesn't really matter who they play at the moment, he doesn't have an answer or a clue what to do in order to turn it around.

His mask has slipped and the result is absolutely beautiful.  Wrighty reckoned they would get Europe man

Alan Pardew’s bitterness

Cheered by Leicester’s rise are you? Think it’s a good story for the game in need of one? Impressed by their performances under pressure and resolve? Then you aren’t Alan Pardew.

‘Unlike Leicester we have been unfortunate to lose key players for long periods,’ Pardew wrote in his programme notes ahead of Crystal Palace’s home game against Claudio Ranieri’s team. ‘Today’s opponents have been awarded 10 penalties this season, which is double the total of any other team.’

This is why Pardew is so difficult to root for, and his slumps enjoyed by supporters across the country. He sounds like a man who would tell his children Father Christmas doesn’t exist just so he could take credit for buying the presents.

Crystal Palace DNA

“I genuinely came back to Crystal Palace because the DNA of how I wanted to run a club and what I wanted to do, would fit me much better” – Alan Pardew, December 2015.

“We had to sit ourselves down at half-time and take away the tyre that we were dragging behind us after five defeats. Make no mistake, it was Crystal Palace DNA which got us home by getting blocks in at the end. We thwarted a Swansea side who are in good form, so it makes it a little bit more sweet that we managed to pull it back” – Pardew, February 2016.

“This team’s DNA has been to fight, to battle, to scrap, and we didn’t do that in the first half there. That was the most disturbing thing. It was uncharacteristic, but that will worry our fans” – Pardew, February 2016.

“I thought we played a fairly measured game in the second half, so that was a good sign. We certainly had more of a Crystal Palace threat in the second half than we had in the first half. That’s what will get us out of it, our DNA” – Pardew, March 19.

There are therefore two explanations for Palace’s run of two points from their last 33 available:

1) Pardew’s DNA, an inability to address a slump, is more powerful than Palace’s own DNA.

2) Palace’s manager is talking a load of old guff.

This guy seems like one of the better journalists going at the moment.

I'm surprised at how quickly it turned to shit for him at Palace. This is exactly like his time here, just happening in a shorter period of time. Would be funny as fuck if they're relegated this season after the start they had. No wins in 2016 ffs

Please God, let us be near or above them by the time he brings his side to SJP next month. Will be so great if 50,000 Geordies could loudly sing 'he's taking you down, Alan Pardew, he's taking you down' to him and those Super Al loving cunts.

They didn't look decent this week, they just had Bolasie and Zaha attacking defenders on their own.

Admittedly I haven't seen very much of them at all this season, but when I have this seems to be their entire approach. Give it wide and hope they go on a mazy run and create something out of nothing, failing that lob it into the box.

No, his whole 'philosophy' is entirely dependent on individuals creating something from nothing. He had it here with Ben Arfa, Cisse in his first season who would score outrageous goals from barely half chances, then Ba and Remy who would score goals with practically no service at all. As soon as he lost that there was no structure or gameplan whereby the team could be better than the sum of its parts. Essentially, he's a shit manager with zero tactical nous. But then we all know that anyway, so not sure why I've just spent a few minutes repeating it for myself

Palace fans are saying he keeps playing Bolasie centrally where he is hope less, its funnier because Pardew kept going on about how much they missed him when he was injured, but since he has come back hasn't played him in his right position.

The fact he had so little say in things at Newcastle actually made him perform better at times.

That year we came fifth our team was so talented man. I would argue a better manager gets us in the champions league that year, and maybe even has us do a Leicester.

Imagine how crap we would have been if he was allowed to sign the Darren Bents, Steve Sidwells and Stephen Irelands! Crystal Palace has actually given him that power!

Wait he's been playing Bolasie centrally?

Yep, ever since he came back, the palace fans on saying he lines up in a 4-4-2 with Adebayor, he then takes Adebayor off and then they start putting crosses in.

Unbelievably classic Pardew.

Remember Ben Arfa having to sit on the bench for 6 months with Pardew bringing him on occasionally in a central position. Was finally given a chance on the right a couple of times until even Pardew was given no choice but to play him. That was apparently Pards playing an absolute blinder rather than wasting Hatem's and everyone else's time playing shite like Obertan ahead of him for half a season.
