Shearergol
I'd pay £30m for him. Not like we'd be spending in on improving the ground or anything.
TK-421
Suppose depends if Stokes bid is all up front as well, or instalments.
Klaus
What is cheaper, 25m or relegation?
Bimpy474
He would makes us instantly better, couldn't care less about the price myself. That's the going rate for everyone now, the TV deal has blown prices utterly mental.
Guest antz1uk
There's no way we would be going down with the 3 we've signed plus berahino
Wallace
It looks like we are being played by West Brom probably to flush out other interest hence the comment to say that we were encouraged to bid. It says something though that the likes of Stoke can bid £21m+ for a player. Our major advantage is that we are prepared to put the cash up front which few if any clubs actually do. Spurs like to pay in dribs and drabs over a long contract and with a heavily incentivised deal so the selling club often doesn't get that much cash. Last Summer they would have sold to anyone but Spurs, now it looks like anyone but us.

nufc4eva
There's no way we would be going down with the 3 we've signed plus berahino Still have a shit manager though. In theory the team we have should be winning a lot more games but they simply don't and always let us down no matter which players are out there. I am hopeful that signing Townsend and new Left back, striker and Shelvey would be enough to see us go on a run but too many false dawns at this club

Jayson
7 points is loads down at the bottom of the table. On average, it takes us what..... 6/7 games to get 7 points? 4 clubs below them aren't going to catch them up. Norwich is the only one id have a hard time seeing manage it. Yorkie
Newcastle absolutely blows Stoke away in terms of the towns, but as a football clubs they have to be a far more enticing prospect atm.

It's only Premier League clubs and the top 3 teams in Europe that can pay these prices, it's utterly warped. Getting like Ultimate Team.

I don't think so, the spending spree we are going on must have made it appear we are finally getting serious about football this year. Appointing a shit manager aside obviously. triggs
Mightn't start for Stoke either with Bojan, Arnautovic, Shaqiri and Affelay competing for the attacking positions
