In fact we relegated you with Shearer as manager - we beat you in the play offs - we won more leagues than you - have higher attendance record - record derby win 9-1 - you can have the FA Cups pet. If you accept as a club that you will never be bigger than your biggest rival, that you will never win a cup or the Premier League, that you will never get into Europe, and all you have left is 6 in a row over your rivals, I can empathise that this could be all that would ever matter.
