Impressive

money hard to come by, giving tickets away, pissing money away on players. how can they keep going?

They're fairly fucked if they go down and I think the more switched on of their fans know it too. Killed them that it was supposed to happen to us but we magicked up £50-60m for our outgoing players.

The Sir Bobby era was all about him, a castle built on sand, similar to KK. Good thing with Rafa, if allowed, he will build more than just a good first team, he will build a good club, a sustainable one. That said, as Rafa and Sir Bobby and KK proved, it's mostly really about the man in the dugout. Souness ranks for me as the 3rd worst manager in our modern history behind Kinnear and king cunt Pardew.

He has admitted theres no funds in Jan, so they go with what they have.

They are in a position do they stick or sell Kone and Pickford who if you add in Defoe are their 3 best players.

The concensus is they will sell them £50million the muppetts think they will get  however it wont be reinvested and they really would be up against it.

The mere future looks bleak for them, everything hinges on them staying up, the owner will NOT back Moyes in Jan, so they really are on the brink.

We'll see

nobody is buying pickford for decent money like, absolutely nobody, kone on the other hand...

According to totalsport last night, Kone's release clause is £25m.

They were discussing where various monies (New TV deal, players sales, etc) have gone over last year, and apparently they've been losing roughly £20m a season with Short making up the rest. Hence most of the big TV money went into the clubs debt, not on players.

Consensus was, even if they sold Kone and Pickford for big money in January, that most of their fees would be absorbed by the debt in the club, leaving very little to be spent on new players.

£25m for kone?  pfft, be amazed if anyone ponied that up as well, everton spring to mind having cash to spend

can he play LB

They were offered £17m for him in the summer. Since then his stock has dropped considerably so I'd be amazed if anyone was prepared to offer anything close to £25m and even if they did the money would only be used to absorb some of this year's losses anyway!

Was he not instrumental in their 3 wins recently?

Couldn't tell you. Playing Defoe and Anichebe up top together seems to have been highlighted as the main reason. I do know he's had far more criticism than praise this season.
