Stal
Didn't Everton offer something like £8 million at first? They really don't understand the art of haggling.
Kimbo
I can't handle the money in the game these days. Clubs seems so susceptible to hype, spend a season saying a player is amazing and worth £30m and someone will come along and pay it. We should try it with Colback as an experiment, bring back the ginger Pirlo hype.
Figures 1-0 Football
Because he's a massive lads fan, I cant help but want his career to crash and burn. How much does all of this mean Woodman is worth after winning the World Cup? £100m?

Tsunami
30 million is just crazy, really is.
Guest
Just a total nothing appointment really This is where Sunderland are now. Neilson from Hearts to MK Dons, Clark from Killie to Bury, Stubbs from Hibs to Rotherham before being sacked...the route from fairly big Scottish clubs to Football League nobodies continues. Geordie Ahmed
Always felt they would get £20mill for him due to having potential, some hype and being English BUT £30mill is crazy. How much does that make Butland worth? He is much better than Pickford.
Pons Alias
"...during the 2012–13 season, Bristol City suffered a club record seven consecutive defeats. McInnes was sacked on 12 January 2013, after a 4–0 home defeat to Leicester City left the club eight points adrift of safety.." Pardew-esque!

Stifler
Nobody willing to admit they were wrong about Pickford then? Think it's far too early to say how he will turn out. From what I have seen is he's done nothing any other keeper in the league couldn't do. Remember how we all rated Krul when he came on the scene, he's hardly turned out to be a £30m keeper. Give credit to Sunderland though, they set their price and they got it.
