How long before someone calls for Harper to be given some kind of job here?

We do need a new striker.

Shame we didn't release any.

I meant this guy, not Graham or Fletcher.

Not in his famous black n white no.9 top

If he signed for Man U he would of had 15 plus major trophys but he was greedy and went for the ££ nufc offered double bubble only reason he went there

They're absolutely foaming that we've took relegation on the chin, even embraced it and are shifting season tickets at a ridiculous rate. We've sneered at their boring wind up attempts and have one of the world's greatest managers to lead us back to the top. It wasn't supposed to be like this.

Don't get this arrogant and deluded comment that all of them use. They are so thick they fail to realise it just ambition and not wanting to settle for been a second rate club like them. They are so proud of there self acceptance and down to earth defeatist mentality of "we know we're shit and know our place."

Then are so thick to realise that is having higher ambitions than that is what allows us to get a top manager like Benitez in the championship in the first place and sees us with about 10 top 6 finishes to there zero.

They're gutted that going down hasn't got people jumping off the Tyne Bridge.  We're not bothered because we have appointed a class manager and they can't cope with that and why should they when the best manager they've had in decades is arguably Sam Allardyce.

..... and come August they will embark once again on the miserable pursuit of gaining enough points to avoid relegation -whatever it takes - and having to watch the footballing equivalent of sticking pins in your eyes as Fat Sam sets up every game to not get beaten.

The irony is that if ever a club could have benefited from a relegation clear out, a new way of thinking and a fresh start it was those sad bastards.

they will just be fucking gutted that the holy grail they covet of having bigger crowds than us wont happen again.

One of them thinks our happiness is a result of having fallen for Lee Ryder's propaganda. What strange little freaks.

The irony being I don't know of a single Newcastle fan who takes a blind bit of notice of anything Lee Ryder says.

RTG man. Thread after thread about nufc. Comments about shearer, they'll never have a player of such stature in their ranks. They're struggling with the fact that we've accepted relegation and are actually now quite positive, although I agree when they say we shouldn't count our chickens.  They're getting a reminder of what potential lies up the road with the ticket sales for a championship season. They're a nothing club who achieve nothing themselves and whose only pleasure is any nufc related negativity. They're only known in relation to Newcastle.  They're like some of these so called 'reality' tv stars who are only 'famous' and make it on to shows for their relation to an actual star. Angie Bowie in big brother, callum best and bianca gascoigne in the jungle for example.

When Darren Bent left them for Aston Villa he was asked what he would miss the most about Sunderland? his reply was "My apartment on Newcastle's quayside"

The irony is that if we'd been displaying the kind of behaviour they expected, being gutted, low season ticket renewals etc then the RTG narrative would be along the lines of fickle mags have been found out, the myth that newcastle fans are loyal has been shattered etc. And they'd mean it just as sincerely

And why is it always about "the rest of the country" with them? There seems to be an unhealthy concern about making sure all other football fans in England hate us and love them. Why?

Because they need to be vindicated by their 'football friends' with their reasoning.

It just hasn't worked out the way they wanted has it?

We were all meant to be kicking off about relegation yet it's actually backfired completely on them. They are the ones pissed off about us not being pissed off.

Pathetic little football club.

I think it's more that we're not gutted at the moment because we have Rafa. We obviously still know that we're relegated, it's just that there's a feeling of preferring the Championship with Rafa over the PL with Allardyce, and I assume that they think we're deluded for that reason.
