wacko
I really hope it works out for Rafa and NUFC (by which I suppose I mean I hope Ashley doesn't do something demented. No flies on Rafa). But if I'm honest, it's mostly because I'm really enjoying reading all the Rafa love-in posts. Youse fuckers finally got a clue
themanupstairs
c*** whinging about Rafa on total sport- Mackem accent like. Saying? said hes now had a handful of games and its about time he showed some results, nothing better than carver or McClaren yet. Two fingered mutant, definitely a mackem then.
Mr Logic
He's a natural PR machine all by himself. Contrast that with the snark shark Ashley employs to do his lying for him. Wonder if Ashley will see the light.

TRon
What a great and genuine man he is. It's such a huge contrast to the snake Pardew, the idiot Carver and the buffoon McClaren. Short and succinct. The last five years summed up brilliantly in one line.

Guest diddimz
Call it blind hope, but I think even if we go down that he'd stick around. He seems to be the sort that doesn't want to leave a club without some level of success and going down with a team, he'd not want that to be his legacy at a club even if it wasn't his fault. jimmymag
Didn't sound too confident in his press conference, talking about never giving up. Almost sounded like he'd lost a bit of confidence in the team. Not the rallying cry I was expecting before this huge game.

Almost sounded like he'd lost a bit of confidence in the team. Not the rallying cry I was expecting before this huge game. Just think he doesn't want everything pinned on this one game, just adds extra pressure on the players and we know how good they are at coping with that... 1964
The last thing we need is someone who shouts and screams. We need calm and authority, there is enough hysteria around the club we don't need it from the manager.

I don't know how anyone can be overconfident anyway with a team that is severely lacking it.
Dontooner
Was hoping he doesn't start dumb Taylor anymore. His clumsy curse might relegate is tbh.
clintdempsey
His starting 11's starting to irk me tbh. This is as bad as anything McClaren's team served up. Has been good with his subs so far though so there's hope if we can hold on until half time.

Wallsendmag
He's one of the best managers in the world but when you have a squad full of cowards, many who will already be looking at moves elsewhere in the summer, then I'm not really sure what he's expected to do. clintdempsey
I don't disagree. But we've finished the games against both Sunderland and Leicester strong after a few tweaks and subs. There's no denying he's a class manager though.
Shak
Honestly think the main problem today has stemmed from the front four. Lone striker who can't hold the ball up. #10 who doesn't get on the ball very often. Two wingers who have very poor football brains and struggle to retain possession, players who have also been placed on sides where they can't really take on the fullback on the outside because it's on their weaker side. We've struggled to get the ball into Norwich's half, never mind looking like scoring, and I don't see how that's gonna improve with this abysmal front four that Rafa has somehow managed to decide to send out. Wallsendmag
We've scored 7 goals away from home all season. We've lost 8 in a row or something daft like that so I can't blame him for trying something totally different.
toontownman
Think he is finding out the hard way what predecessors have. Players obviously play the game and give a shit in training. Couldn't care less on the pitch.
