triggs
For me our biggest threat at home Wijnaldum played deeper? Bad choice in the relegation fight. Perez ineffective, Townsend unaware. Sissoko just not a wide player. Best on the field most natural roles Shelvey & Mbemba Wijnaldum hasn't been our biggest threat home or away for about 3 months
Shush
Surprised how little we improved today. 10% atmost. I am not getting on Rafa's back by any means but we still play like strangers. This is the most diffcult thing to fix, i am sure Rafa will get it eventually but we might not have enough time. We need to start playing like a team if we want to get out of this and now its doesn't look like its moving that way yet. I think it's the whole derby thing. They are always different to normal games, the intensity from Sunderland in the first half was enough to stifle us on the ball. They faded in the second half protecting their lead and that allowed us back in to the game, of course with Rafa making the right changes too. afar
It was just the perfect appointment for us, at the wrong time unfortunately, should have happened a month earlier. If he can somehow pull of a miracle here, we could have a very bright future presuming he stays.
The College Dropout
Worried we don't have the right players or they aren't good enough. So much is wrong it's scary. Sunderland full value for the point. Rafa needs to get rapid improvement from this team and it's going to be so difficult. Norwich is must win. Fear we got Rafa in too late. Playing deep yes he can do a bit, but we need to score a few, playinig him in cm i dont agree, sorry. The guy can do a job further up, ayoze was innefective in a derby, at worst id have pushed him wide where his assist came from.

SUPERTOON
Anyone know how many players we have going away on international duty? If the bulk are staying we have two weeks to work on a game plan for Norwich. Despite our terrible away form all season, for the remainder at least, I can see us being better away from home. Mick
Any word on where he's moved to or is he commuting all the way from the Wirrel? I'm sure he said that he was living in Newcastle during an interview, i would guess a bit of both.

Tsunami
Janmaat was limping when he came off. We were awful first half, second to most balls, too slow in possession and gave them far too much time to get organised. Sissoko was ineffective and Gini struggled to pose any kind of threat. Kirchhoff controlled the midfield first half. Rafa's got a hell of a job on his hands, we were second best today and will not catch Sunderland unless we improve by a considerable margin. We have to beat Norwich, that means creating and scoring goals away from home.

number9shirt
https://twitter.com/BBCSporf/status/711600717572796418 We should have a poll, Do you wear South Park socks? For the record, yes I do.
M1tche
Every sub so far has made me think "what the f**k??" Quickly followed by "f**k that's an attacking move, let's see how this pans out" so much better than that other guys left back for left back crap and Mcclaren's 88th minute token sub, which changes nothing. Guest Open_C
Aye, I like having a manager who appears to know more about football than I do. Refreshing change[emoji38]
Dinho lad
Refreshing having a gentleman, in the ilk of SBR and Hughton, represent the club again. Love you, Rafa!
Minhosa
He should take enormous credit for that point. The best sub, imho, was De Jong who he had hover between the lines which confused Kirchoff, who was by far the best player on the pitch, especially in the first half. If the four mins added time wasn't wasted with them time wasting, cramp/mitro shite, I think we win the game. I've seen us win with that kind of momentum so many times. Such as shame.
