How the fuck do we never have any commentators with a stronger Newcastle connection on Sky? Souness hates us because we chased him out for being shit.

@OptaJoe: 1 - Rafa Benitez has lost just one of his 10 Premier League games against Sunderland, winning the other nine. Beachball.

Has anyone brought a beachball?

No. But there'll be a blimp in their dugout.

Rafa actually watches the games and analyses things. Love the team selection!

Mbemba and Lascelles partnership has such great potential. Hope that clicks.

Thankfully no more Gini in that number 10 role, which wasn't working at all.

Very excited about the game now. Rafa has done his bit damned well. Come on!

You for real? Wijnaldum has been a threat in front of goal, very dangerous in the box.

Seems more limited in the middle to me, but the new manager obviously has to work with the best available selection.

Glad no sign of the liability Taylor.

Some of our fans wearing Rafa masks and holding up bits of paper with a message in Times New Roman on. Oh dear.

It was laminated though. Bonus points for that[emoji38]

Yeah but his threat has always come from deep and late runs into the box, starting behind the striker limits his space. He was much better on the left IMO.
