Just know our first game is going to be moved.to Friday night. First live game of the season is bound to involve us. Just hope its not too much of a trek. Booked that friday off already mind just in case

I predict it will be Villa they target for this, I've heard them describe themselves as the biggest ever club to be relegated from the PL, we've been down here before recently, it's new for them. Of course we could be playing Villa first game then it's an absolute lock for live coverage.

Yeah a big allocation would be nice. Probably be somewhere boring like Fulham - is there a more dull away ground than Fulham. Not just ruind because its London and our atmosphere is never as good down there but that ridiculous neutral section which always dilutes the atmosphere somehow

Also they're away 6th May so we'll be at home for our last game.

So we finish two weeks before the Premier League?! I thought it was one!

From wiki:

The 2016–17 Football League Championship (referred to as the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship reasons) is the thirteenth season of the Football League Championship under its current title and it will be the twenty-fifth season under its current league structure. The season will start on 6 August 2016 and conclude on 6 May 2017.[1]

Anyone else think with this seasons Premier league potentially turning into a shit storm of good teams, the best place for Rafa's re-building job to take place is in the championship (Not even gona put my tin hat on)

No, if anything I think it makes it harder for us to rebuild with the gap between the Premier League & Championship widening every season.

I do have that concern. But then I'm comforted by the fact that only two teams have bought their way to outright success this century. There's so much more to it than simply cherry picking geet loads of internationals, as Leicester proved, Spurs too. I could see us getting promoted, consolidating our position in the Prem and then getting into the top 6 within the next three years. The Premier League is a free for all.

Depends on our squad and what we bring in

A year for a few to bed in like mitro, possibly wijnaldum plus a year for some young English players to find there fit and excel. It's more about building that psyche and culture that you see in clubs that come up. Shedding the money grabbers and making sure we are also picking up players that can blossom in the premier league when we go up is the goal.

As we saw last season and to lesser extents other years having a team that works together and has the hunger  can outweigh the mega bucks.

100%

We need a functional, organised team structure, with a healthy, competitive and hungry mentality.

A core of the better championship level players, with just one or two marquee signings when we come back up will make us competitive right away on our return.
