Swansea were half interesting when they came up. Have now reached boring non-entity status.

 

Yup. First season up under Rodgers and the next under Laudrup, was rather refreshing to see a small, well-run club play something other than typical lower league clogger football. Couldn't care less about them now.

Weird how Swansea went 5 at the back today and West Ham did too against Man City a few weeks back, both failing miserably. We did it at Stoke and got pumped under Pardew. Van Gaal didn't have much success with it lwith Man Utd Has any manager had much success with it in the Prem?

 

Think Martinez did it a few times with Wigan which won them a few games but most of the time it  seems that teams don't really have a clue what they're doing in this division when it's implemented

Conte will probably do it soon and will no doubt make it a success for Chelsea.

There's a reason he hasn't tbh, it's asking to be killed in this league. It's just not a good system to use up against teams that play with lots of width as they will force constant 2 v 1s in wide areas.

 

It's also the reason why Allegri scrapped it in the CL for Juve.
