Could almost cover our outlay for the coming the three we have brought in plus four defenders with the potential sale of Sissoko and Townsend.

Tote, Cisse, janmaat and Thauvin are also likely off with hopefully gouffran and riviere. We should be in a good position to pay the necessary amount to get the best young players in the championship and around we have been linked with.

Be a decent enough signing; pointless trying to justify the fee in today's market. He's been pretty much a mainstay for Watford during their promotion and subsequent consolidation in the Prem.

Aye, in a world where someone can demand £30m for Troy Deeney, you may as well just rip up the protocol for pricing footballers.

The fees in todays market are daft, we wouldn't look out of place demanding £25m-£30m for Gini or Sissoko. Some fool would pay it too.

people will overpay this closer to the window closing, that's one of the reasons why Jose wants his business done asap

Am i the only one who thought Kolo Toure would've been a decent shout on a free transfer?

Unsure of how old he actually is now but would offer good leadership and experience. I expect he's got better offers though.

Wages, injury prone, absolutely no sell on fee. Things have changed but not that much

hopefully get gini to start the season and a few games out of sissoko when he comes back off his break. get as many points on the board then hope some desperate clubs come in with a £20m+ bid as the transfer wind comes to a close.

only downside is if we are dependent on their sales to bring in a couple of new players.

If spurs want wijnaldum we should make damn sure we play hardball with Daniel Levy.  He screwed £12m out of us for townsend who wasn't even in their first team squad so  Wijnaldum has got to be £25m.  Don't want to pay that Mr Levy?  Fine, he is under contract for 4 more years

so no need to sell.
