Magpie
Mate at work apparently heard some ITK bollocks about Gerrard and has chucked £20 on it at 20/1. Rumour is he'll play for the remainder of the season then take up a coaching role in the summer.

mighty__mag
Gerrard as a coach yes. Playing dont see where he fits? Rather take Lampard probably still better now than Diame.
Conjo
Would prefer to play Colback. That's how little I think of Stevie Me. I'd prefer a Gerrard with 20/200 eyesight in a wheel chair before Colback.

Guest TheBallWinner
Won't happen. Like somebody said, he'll probably go to LFC and take a coaching role at the end of the season. However.... Rafa always spoke about playing Gerrard as a CF to preserve his playing career when he was at LFC. Brendan went the other way and sat him deeper. IF it happened, 0.002 percent chance, he'd replace Diame / Perez in the team rather than Shelvey / Colback / Hayden etc.
James
With Liverpool having a genuine shot at the league he will probably spend the whole of January in his car parked outside Anfield just in case. Then sign for West Brom on 1 Feb.
James
Also right now it looks likely we will get promoted with a good buffer. In that basis there is no point signing someone who will retire at the end of the season when we have half a year for Rafa to use match experience to get other players up to PL speed. It won't happen.

joeyt
Douglas thinks we might be interested in Scott Hogan from Brentford. Seen him play a few times for Brentford and he's never really impressed me but I'm probably watching the wrong games as his goalscoring record is excellent. He was pretty anonymous when we played Brentford. Can't see him being anything other than 3rd choice if he did join though so would be a strange signing unless we get injuries
