Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press

Recommended Posts

Incredible that we'll spend £10m on a winger that doesn't appear to be first choice, yet we're refusing to pay £13.4m for a striker that'll probably end up playing more games than said winger.

Even with Ashley-logic of not spending what we don't have, there is no way we cant afford this deal like.

Because Ashley in his infinite wisdom believes in sell on value above all else, if Perez was 25 or under he'd probably pay it.

But seeing as he's a moron, here we are.

They probably think he's ancient at 28 and won't be able to recoup a future fee the tight twats.

Think the last couple of weeks has virtually confirmed it's about the wages rather than transfer fees. Murphy is probably on a much lower salary than Perez would demand to come here. It's all the same money to me like, the club clearly disagree.

Newcastle and West Ham are locked in a bitter battle for Brentford’s Jota.

The two clubs are squaring off over the Spanish playmaker who has just one season left to run on his contract at Griffin Park.

Jota, 26, is seen as a ball-player who will add quality to both teams going forward — and rival bosses Rafael Benitez and Slaven Bilic have different reasons for pursuing the deal.

Toon chief Benitez still believes he is short of quality in areas that can make a difference for his promoted Magpies.

We're not a soverign nation like free-spending Huddersfield.

Not defending Ashley at all, but TBF Huddersfield had to do a huge amount more than we did, considering they rented half their team last year and were still way behind Brighton and ourselves.

10 million? That's us not in the running.

on this very page i'm being told that we'd probably pay the money for perez if he was younger than 28 and that we're automatcially out of the running for this 26 year old frenchman for a price theoretically lower than perez
