Knockaert plz.

Wouldn't be surprised if he/they got premier league offers before the window shuts. They wouldn't sell him to us before Saturday but I'd like to test them with 15million on Saturday night and see what his/their reaction is.

They'd basically be accepting they aren't going to get promoted. Anything we can pay them is nothing compared to the prize at stake. Can't see them selling.

Unless they have a contingency for the players head getting turned and feel they can stgrengthen with the cash . Going in dedline day would be pointless.

Beating them on Saturday, if we had the intention of seriously bidding for him, could help make a difference.

Surely there is someone out there in Europe we can spend £10m on to match what Knockaert can do. I know people will instantly think Thauvin and use him as an example, but Rafa wasn't in charge of the purchases back then.

Was it Gary Speed who we walked away with after playing against him for Everton? Think it was at Goodison mind.

Could have been Drunken.

According to Caulkin, we have had bids for a premier league winger rejected within the last week.

At a guess - Victor Moses? Rafa used to manage him at Chelsea.

Possible, and he has been coming on for Chelsea so maybe he is in their plans.

Getting a bit worried that we seem to be chasing players that aren't for sale.

 almost like you have to put in a bid to see if they're for sale or something.

Hoilett still on a free isn't he?

Would take him on a 1 year contract.

Fuck that. He's shit and a twat.

We need to prioritise other positions but if we sorted all them out I'd take Stephane Sessegnon on a free on a one year deal.

Think he could offer some much needed trickery in the centre

Well we've been knocked back by Brighton and this premier club so far so we must be making some sort of approach, but it's going to take a daft bid to get them interested.
