thomas
Mine very nearly was, only started watching football in 2001. Caught some good years under SBR then, well. Fuck. This is probably all my fault tbh.
Mike
we've been so s*** for so long. :'( It's all I've known. 5th place season under the King is all I've had, and even that included 5-0 and 4-0 losses to Spurs and Wigan. Oh my God me too.

loki679
The Keegan years were the best, even better than Robson. Fucking magic, that team was amazing.
George Bailey
It is time for a phoenix to rise from the flames to replace Gayle. He has been training hard in the shadows and is ready to see the light once again http://www.telegraph.co.uk/content/dam/football/2016/03/07/Kuqi-large_trans_NvBQzQNjv4BqqVzuuqpFlyLIwiB6NTmJwfSVWeZ_vEN7c6bHu2jJnT8.jpg His last manager's job in Finnish top flight ended like this: He sacked two of his assistants Same day the owner said he had no power to sack anyone and sacked Kuqi instead. One of the assistants was hired as the manager. That's the way the Kuqi crumbles I guess. I chuckled.

George Bailey
Makes zero sense in footballing terms and I cannot imagine Rafa would be happy with this... It's happening then.
NG32
Money in the bank is better than assets on the pitch. Looks like Ashley is gambling again This fat fuck has crippled this club.

BottledDog
Makes zero sense in footballing terms and I cannot imagine Rafa would be happy with this... It's happening then. This gives some reasons why it may be a Rafa decision. Trust over his hamstring issues, and his 'levels'. etc. http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/what-s-going-on-with-dwight-gayle-his-unease-at-newcastle-explained-1-8729482

Zero
It may be Rafa decision to sell Gayle, but it must be against his will to sell without a replacement, no question.
Stottie
It's mental to not have a replacement in already if Rafa is not happy with him as the Shields Gazette article says. Unlike the others, there was never any possibility of us not being able to find a buyer.

Lush Vlad
Not sure losing Gayle and replacing him with Perez drastically improves us, TBH. I think keeping Gayle as an option from the bench and trying to spend some of the pennies we have on trying to get an attacking midfielder that isn't hopeless, would be a better option. Guest
I'm struggling to get the hype with Lucas Perez. He's no doubt good but seems everyone's been pinning their hopes on him the last 6 weeks and I don't get why.

gdm
Gayle 6/5 to stay. Reckon that's easy money. As I said it's just a time wasting excersise

Leatherman
More mobile team is his aim but will he be here to see it through and if they sel Gayle without a good replacement its a disaster.
Altamullan
Gayle isn't going anywhere without a replacement. Our current 'recruitment team' are either the kind of people who would be awesome poker players or incompetent...
