OverThere
Wouldn't he be an option for the cups especially the early rounds? It's hardly he is that bad a player. Bottom half of the PL but an able back up for certain situations.
toontownman
Was pure class under Rafa. Versatile on the pitch filling in at RB and CB as well as DM. Sadly seemed to regress to broken and unfixable under Bruce. If Howe didn't want to keep him before then he must be too far gone. Can't see Eddie changing his mind. Real shame as he only just turned 28 a few months back, should be in his prime.
Superior Acuña
Scored the last pre-Howe goal. He doesn't have a future. Yes he'd be fine playing early in the cups, but he's not going to get a league squad place so we won't be keeping him. Important player in the Rafa years. Pilko
Important to remember his positive contribution in the Rafa years and even when he was Bruced he always gave his all despite personal issues off the pitch. Anyone advocating a return to the squad now, however, needs to take off the rose tinted bins. His passing was always absolutely chronic and we need someone of far better quality in there these days. khay
Aye Hayden will break further in a Howe team.
Nucasol
Sadly now a Man of Glass. Loan to a lower mid table Championship club with parachute payments. Possibly West Brom.
TRon
He'd be fine for a championship team if he had a better injury record. We'd probably have gotten a decent fee a few years back, but his constant breakdowns and relatively high wages makes him a liability now. Nothing to do with his ability. While he is never going to pull up any trees, he could definitely do a good job at that level if he was 100% fit for most of the season.
aussiemag
Mike Ashley handing out 6 year contracts to championship level players and signing the likes of Castore and Fun 88 onto long term deals, when he knew the club would likely be sold, is ridiculous. He probably did it on purpose.

Dr.Spaceman
Speaking entirely hypothetically here, but could we in theory give him a job looking after something random if he was unwilling to terminate his contract in order to nullify FFP?
Nucasol
Plenty of EFL clubs interested. Let’s see who presses the panic button first.

Nucasol
Hoy Southampton and Ipswich into the mix too.
TRon
If he's over his injury problems he'll be a decent player for a championship team.
MagMal
Boro would be a good option for him, and he probably wouldn't need to uproot his family, they haven't had the best start and Gibson while not at the fantasy football wages stage anymore could probably pay good wages. Skeletor
Should probably just retire. His body can't hack playing football anymore.

Is he settled here now? I can remember when he first moved to Newcastle he had problems with his lass who wanted to be back down south.

Wasn't his wife adamant about moving back South? Although she eventually came around I could see London clubs being appealing.

Stifler
Aye, it would be an excellent move. I hope he gets a decent move for his final stage of his career to be honest, Luton could potentially be one. Him and Fraser leaving is shit for this seasons FM career, leaving nothing left to being in extra transfer funds.
