Guest neesy111
I like him but 6 years seems a bit mad Yeah. I don't get the 6 years at all. I wonder if we give out longer contracts for lower weekly wages.
Shays Given Tim Flowers
You'd imagine they are a commitment to a long term basic level with large performance related incentives and break clauses.

I wonder if we give out longer contracts for lower weekly wages. MA sees it as protecting his assets, so he can sell them, rather than them leaving for nothing. What he hasnt learned, is that in the cases of players like Henry Saivet, it costs him a shit ton of wages.
TheInfiniteOdyssey
Great news, but have to agree with some on here, 6 years is crazy

Oh yeah, it'll be about making us looking better on paper with assets tied to long term deals.
Lenny
He improved immeasurably last season, against all odds.

Dr Jinx
Great news in fairness.. one of a few vital players for the starting 11 if fit.
STM
Hes literally our only decent defensive midfield player. He would great alongside someone like Cabaye who could pull the strings.

I reckon when we play the top sides he’ll sacrifice Almiron or Fraser for Hendrick just to give him a hand with Shelvey.
TRon
One of the most important signings of the summer this. Yeah, mainly because he's the only midfielder we have who is actually capable of closing down the opposition effectively. He's not top 6 level, but considering what he cost it's a no brainer. Guest Cheesy Beans
Pleased he’s staying - decent player, has been great for us comparatively to his fee and he seems like a decent bloke.

Newcastle Fan
I really like Isaac, he always gives it his all and that also allow Shelvey a bit more freedom to get the ball and try and create.

Tiresias
Good, tho still feel always a rush of blood to the head away from a booking
Raconteur
Will be interesting to see Hayden and Hendrick in the middle together when we visit places like Anfield and Old Trafford. It would probably mean a sub-20% possession game, but I’d like to watch them battle against a good midfield.
