In the end, they barely threatened. Lobbed it in the mixer a few times, but that was it. Another thoroughly professional performance. Do think they should have had a penna though. Would have turned it massively

Piece of p*ss that. One of the toughest games of the season :yao:

Never understood why it was supposed to be tough anyway, because they have history of being a good team like 15 years ago?

:yao: There was never anything to suggest they are a good team.

Three wins in a row before this game like, one of them away to Norwich.

Being 6th in the league before this weekend and beating Norwich away?

Really quite comfortable overall. They really shot themselves in the foot with the first goal, we started very well but without really looking too dangerous. They needed to keep us out until we got frustrated, but it never happened. The second was a quality goal and killed the game off as a contest. It really felt like their players just accepted they had been outclassed.

Thought we might lose or draw this one tbh, so I'm well happy with a 2-0 win. :indi:

Other than Brighton there's nobody else good in this league

Also I'm pretty sure Preston beat Norwich and some other good teams before we played them yet that was a simple game.

Not the only ones either considering the 20 point swing since we beat Norwich.

Like I said there was never anything to suggest there are a good team who was going to cause us trouble.

They really should have got a penalty, and Darlow's save early in the 2nd was key, made it look comfortable. No doubt though that had they gotten back into it from either of those incidents, we would have stepped it up again. Good away day once more.

Thought the ref had a good game, despite the pen incident (and you can understand why he didn't give it), thought he handled the affair well, since the refs in this league have been getting a lot of stick, this guy today was excellent.
