Tiresias
No point playing Gayle deep at all, wouldn't mind seeing just a normal 4-4-2 at home at this point but meh.
mighty__mag
Players on the pitch aren't just hungry enough. They've played like shit against Wednesday and still kept their places. Rafa really has to give the others a chance. Mitro surely would be fired up more than most of these players right now. Rafa doesn't want 'fired up' though. He wants rigidity throughout the team. Homophobe You fucking what? No benders in the squad.
SUPERTOON
I don't get why our home form is so poor, I know every team has a blip during the season (unless they're really fortunate) but we're better than this. Because we are to easy to play against, we have no creativity and any team who sits back has an easy time.
triggs
Lazy cowards on the pitch. Does this always have to be the criticism when we play badly like? Same last season

Collage
I don't understand a manager as good as Rafa looking at Colback and thinking, aye he should start.....baffled. I agree. Rafa is a safety first manager though, and Colback is a safety first player, as in he's shit scared to do anything constructive.
Bimpy474
Hopefully he doesn't leave it to long to make a change. Erm, well his past subbing history isn't exactly up and at em. That's the concern, crying out for early changes to win this game. Well you would think he might have learned from the last game and make an early one this time. Hopefully. KaKa
Last time in the Championship we played 4-5-1 away and 4-4-2 at home. We didn't lose once at home all season. Rafa is too rigid and stubborn with his system. Last time in the championship we didn't have Colback in midfield. Who is picking the team? Just saying it isn't the system, as you were complaining about. I wish he'd just put Diame in alongside Hayden, but apprently he doesn't see Diame as a central mid. We need to sign at least two central midfielders on the 1st of January.

Rafa is too rigid and stubborn with his system. Last time in the championship we didn't have Colback in midfield. Aye, we had Alan Smith Unfortunately for us right now, Smith back then is a hell of a lot better player than Colback now, and Smith was certainly no world beater. Ronaldo
He can play the same system with Mitro up top and Gayle behind him. Don't see the problem with that myself Gayle isn't a number 10 type of player. Agree with that.

If the players don't fit the system then the system is the issue and at home our players aren't good enough in the final third to create lots of chances when the opposition defends well

Don't see the problem with that myself Gayle isn't a number 10 type of player. Neither is Perez nor Diame. At least Gayle has played in different positions on the front line for Palace.
