That's actually a rare example of some real progress though. They have a temporary stadium set up for next 2 years, to finally get a club owned stadium built after years of renting off the council.

Historically Cagliari have been the archetype example of the Italian club with stadium problems.

Unbelievable that an experienced PL manager would look at the league and think 'Aye, need loads of slow players who all play the same position'. He's proper reverted to out of date Dutch manager which is all the rage at being shit these days.

How long before Koeman is under pressure? £100m plus on Sigurdsson, Pickford & Keane.

Pickford & Keane good signings in isolation. Problem is they've got nee balance or pace. They're shite, it's quite funny.

Aye. One of the weirdest transfer windows I've ever seen from a team. None of their signings are ostensibly bad, but as a collective it looks aimless.

To spend £45m on Sigurdsson when they've already got Klassen, Rooney & Miralles, plus Baines who's as good on set-pieces was mental. They could have got someone top drawer for close to that surely?

It's weird that nearly every football fan could see Everton were buying slow players and had no pace except the Everton hierarchy, unless they just chose to ignore it.

It's like they're gambling on Coleman and Bolasie to provide it when they eventually come back
