Guest Howaythetoon Posted December 29, 2017 Share Posted December 29, 2017 Again during the second half he had 2 City players around him and rather than just try and head the ball away when it came towards him, he jumps up, controls the ball with his chest, brings it down and lays it off all in seconds. I love it when a player has a certain aspect of their game that it quintessential theirs and this is now becoming his trademark. He was very good when he came on, him and Atsu. We need to build a team around this fella and he needs better players around him for him to shine even more. I think Rafa is managing him correctly because the intensity of the league could effect him. I expect him to be much more up to speed next season. I expect him to be much more up to speed next season. Rafa may have learned something from his recent injury. I do think that a lot of players who now start playing Premiership football at a young age seem to suffer as a result. (eg Wilshere, Ramsey) Perhaps particularly midfield players.
