Guest
I think it’s great how poor they’ve both been this season. Added competition from Kilmarnock, Hearts and Aberdeen coming god again has meant a close title race.
The College Dropout
Celtic need to get their finger out. Thats a brilliant signing for Rangers. Interesting take on this thread mind... https://twitter.com/beaumontdmd/status/1080751866227625985?s=21 Topple Celtic for 1 or 2 years. Job done. Also they could actually win the SPL this season. So why not?
AyeDubbleYoo
Don’t see the problem unless you’re endangering the finances of the club. Everyone needs success to build success.
joeyt
They must be spending a canny whack on wages for players like Defoe, Steven Davis, Dorrans. Bet Gerrard is on a good wage too
triggs
They must be spending a canny whack on wages for players like Defoe, Steven Davis, Dorrans. Bet Gerrard is on a good wage too Think Davis took a massive paycut which makes sense as he used to play there. Wasn’t it reported when Defoe went to Bournemouth that he’d be on £100k per week? Mad if Rangers are paying even half of that

sbnufc
Good for him. Need more Brits (English, now) going abroad.

Dinho lad
Bournemouth showing more ambition than us. Good luck to the fuckers - at least they've got balls.
Guest chopey
Bournemouth showing more ambition than us. Good luck to the fuckers - at least they've got balls. And 11000 fans every other week plus an owner with a few hundred grand in the bank, they must be rolling in it.
joeyt
Wilson leaving?
Dinho lad
Wilson leaving? Rafa wanted to sign him but then he realised that Joselu was available, of course. The rest is history.
SEMTEX
£19m for no-goal Solanke. Joselu should be on negative goals, given his price.
toon25
Bournemouth showing more ambition than us. Good luck to the fuckers - at least they've got balls. This. How fucking depressing. Had we been in that position there’s no way the fat cunt would spend given safety would be pretty much guaranteed.
joeyt
That was quick
Kanji
Would take us a month to complete a signing. God remember the January window we nabbed Debuchy, Sissoko, Gouffran, Haidara and Mapou? that was stuff of dreams lol
triggs
Seems a big risk on Solanke. He's barely played in his career
joeyt
Yeah I think it's a risk, you're pretty much gambling on him based on his pedigree and goals in the u21s. He's not done anything really at senior level.
Wullie
Absolutely smashed our transfer record on a bloke with one PL goal.
Ketsbaia
And he'll be back up to Wilson and King? So strange.
brownie21390
Now in a time where by Bournemouth can spend £19 million on a player who isn't guaranteed to even get a game for them.
KaKa
Wow. Solanke hasn't looked that convincing when he's played. He's been okay, but hasn't really scored goals. Liverpool and Bournemouth seem to have some kind of thing going. Bournemouth have done this with Jordan Ibe already and it didn't really work out at all, and he seemed to show a lot more than Solanke did as a player in general, albeit they do play in different positions. Strange stuff. Pretty astonishing that £19 million gets you that nowadays. I guess it's because he's young and English and has looked good for England under 21s, and so maybe they can bring him along, but man it's a risk. brownie21390
Also wonder what the fitness issue was that Palace found as surely he would have been a better fit there and actually became no1 starter
Andy84
Absolutely smashed our transfer record on a bloke with one PL goal. Keeping our powder dry, won’t be held to ransom, weighing up, monitoring.
