Always rated him, much less a risk of a punt than say Carroll or Sturbridge although the latter is clearly the better player. He would have been ideal under Rafa given his fitness/recovery programme. Under Bruce though he’d be an even bigger crock you’d imagine. Watford do some decent business and have some canny players. They don’t seem to spend big silly money or sell for big money.
