Be amazed if he flops in all honesty. He’s an absolute beast and he comes across as an oddball who’s obsessed with football. Can’t believe they’re getting him and for an amazing price too

Of course there is a chance, every single signing made, particularly from abroad carries a risk of the player flopping.

Cant see it. Hes barely got any weakness. Hes scoring goals everywhere hes been. CL, national, league. Based on what do you think he will flop? There is a much bigger chance he will tear the league apart than flop.

It’s more based on the fact he hasn’t seemed to recover fully from his hip injury and dortmund fans seem to think he hasn’t been the same player since (that could be a touch of sour grapes on their part).

Or his mind is somewhere away from Dortmund.

He hasn’t been as dangerous as he was before, but it might be low motivation level as he knows he is leaving. But yes, it’s true that after the injury he has not been that special anymore.

It isn't a good move for the Premier League. City by all accounts should absolutely walk it now every year if he keeps his form. Another top league where the champions are set before a ball is kicked unless there's a major upset.

Dortmund have mugged themselves off with that release clause

It's the only way they would have got him in the first place.

Don't think they had much choice.

If your options are have Haaland for two years and then make a decent profit on him or don't sign him at all it's pretty easy.
